Duties of an usher
As churchgoers arrive, Murray Hill ushers greet members and visitors with a smile and hand out bulletins. During the worship service the ushers collect the monetary offerings from the congregation. They are also available to answer visitors’ questions and extend extra help in seating those who need assistance. The ushers also assist with guiding the congregation up to the Communion railing on Communion Sunday.
