Past, Present, and Future

Since its earliest days, Murray Hill United Methodist Church has been a steadfast beacon of God’s love in the community. Though the buildings may have evolved, the congregation expanded, and cherished members have come and gone, one constant remains: the divine light of God continues to shine brightly through the heart of Murray Hill UMC.

Originally founded in 1926 as Murray Hill Methodist Church, it embraced its identity as part of the United Methodist Church following the denomination’s formation in 1968. In the 1990s, the church further enriched its fellowship by welcoming members from Wesley UMC, weaving diverse stories and deepening shared faith experiences.
